This is a very well made steel actioned over & under. It is engraved with fine scroll & game scene by L Sabatti. It has a highly figured 14 3/4" semi pistol gripped stock with 30" x 2 3/4" steel barrels. This gun is fitted with a detachable lock system.

This gun is approx 5 years old and is in excellent condition.

This is a beautifully built London sidelock ejector, over & under. The action & locks were engraved by Marcus Hunt with fine rose & scroll. Charles Lancaster's name is inlaid in gold on the locks, barrels and underside of the action. It has 29" x 2 3/4" chopperlump barrels and 14 1/4" semi-pistol gripped stock.

This gun comes cased with a full array of Mike Marsh named accessories.

The current owner has a second identical gun for those of you that require a pair.

This gun is truly outstanding and offers a remarkable saving on a new London built OU.

This little gun has just been overhauled, furniture polished & blacked. It has an Anson fore-end, full spindle lever system and a rocker safe. The gun has a 15" straight-hand stock, cast for the left and the triggers are also swept for the left, this could easily be converted. It has 26" steel barrels and 2 1/2" chambers.

Opens & closes beautifully.

This is a beautifully made 20g ejector shotgun by Hardy Brothers of Alnwick. Built circa 1925 with 28" steel barrels and a 14 1/4" straight-hand stock. This gun is totally original, it has just been fully overhauled and had the furniture blacked etc.

Once you are bored with fishing, this gun is your 'perfect' alternative.

This gun is a 'best' grade Atkin spring-opener. This gun has been fully restored around 20 years ago and has been un-fired since. It has 27" x 2 3/4" chopperlump barrels with a 14 3/4" one piece stock. This gun comes in an Atkin lightweight case with trade label.

This rifle is in fabulous condition and is the model 1532. It has a 4 Shot magazine, set trigger, 6x40 Apollo scope with steel mounts, carrying string and cover is included.
I sold this rifle about 10 years ago to its present owner, although second-hand at the time, he didn't fire a shot through it and has now given up his licence.

As you will be aware Anschutz is fabulous quality.

This is a .222 Anschutz model 1530-1534. It has a roll-over cheek piece, a set trigger and a 4 Shot magazine. The stocks on these rifles are lacquered and as such the stock does look like it is on the scruffy side however, it will sort out any fox or roe deer problems!

An excellent quality rifle.

This gun is in truly spectacular condition. It was built circa 1910 with 30" x 2 1/2" steel barrels. It has a 14 3/8" straight-hand stock, the action and locks are engraved with panels of acanthus scroll. It has Southgate ejectors and also the typical Army & Navy blue enamelled safe. It comes in its original leather case with trade label, snap caps, rods etc; it even has its original Army & Navy turn screw and a ring cartridge extractor.

The gun retains over 99% of its original finish, THIS GUN HAS NOT BEEN RE-HARDENED

This is Round bodied ejector gun by Abbiatico Salvinelli and is the Zeus model. The gun is engraved with bold acanthus over stippled background. The maker's signature is in gold and it has a Labrador engraved on the underside of the action. This gun has Southgate ejectors, a Spindle lever system and a hinged front trigger. The gun is also fitted with a rolled edge trigger guard. It has a 14 1/2" highly figured straight-hand stock, 29" chopperlump barrel with 2 3/4" chambers. The gun is in pretty much new condition.

These guns are built circa 1925. The actions & locks are engraved with fine rose & scroll which retains a fair amount of original hardening colour. The guns were re-stocked about 10 years ago and have well matched 14 5/8" straight-hand French walnut stocks with new fore-ends to match. They have 29" chopperlump steel barrels with 2 1/2" chambers. The guns are offered for sale in their original leather maker's case with trade label and accessories.

I suspect these are by-far the best Dickson Round actions available for sale on the market today.

This is a very clean example of an AYA 25 boxlock. It has a 13 7/8" straight-hand stock with 25" x 2 3/4" chopperlump steel barrels with a narrow quick sighting rib. It retains a fair amount of original colour hardening and opens & closes beautifully.

It has been stripped & cleaned and is ready for the coming season.

This is the latest MacNaughton that I have seen with Damascus barrels. Being No 2 of a pair, it may be the last Damascus gun built. Dicksons bought MacNaughtons in the early 1940s; the last MacNaughton gun number is 3558. This gun is numbered 3295. It has 28" barrels, pendulum safe, engraved with the typical scroll & Scottish roped borders and it has a 14 5/8" one-piece straight-hand stock.

This is a beautifully built hammer gun which is top lever opening. It has 30" Damascus barrels with 2 3/4" chambers and a 14 3/8" straight-hand stock with toe and heel plates. The gun has WR Pape's patent engraved on the underside of the action and Pape's trade mark engraved on the bow of the guard. This gun will open & close with the right lock cocked.

This gun is just about to be overhauled.

These guns were built circa 1905. They are the finest quality Harkom sidelocks that I have had for sale. They were fully restored by myself in 1997 and I am delighted to have them in for sale. The guns have 28" chopperlump replacement barrels with 2 3/4" chambers. These guns have 15 3/8" fabulously figured stocks which include just over 1" wooden extensions. The actions & locks are engraved with fine scroll and Scottish roped borders. The word 'safe' is in gold & black enamel with gold cocking indicators. The lock maker is Chilton and they have Southgate ejectors.

This is an early Fraser shotgun built circa 1890. It incorporates Fraser's patent lever system. The gun has been re-barrelled by John Dickson & Son, I suspect sometime in the 1930s. This gun is number two of a pair. It has 27" x 2 3/4" steel barrels and a 14 1/4" pistol gripped stock. It has a beautifully filed action.

These guns really are in a class of their own.

The gun overall is on the worn side but never-the-less it is a good reliable gun for someone.

This little gun was built circa 1940, it has just been re-proofed and has had the action & mechanism fully overhauled and the furniture polished & blacked. The gun has a full spindle lever system, Southgate ejectors and a rocker safe. The gun has border engraving with vignettes of game scene, pheasant on the left hand side and pigeon on the right hand side. The barrels are 27" with a quick sighting Churchill rib. It has a 14 3/8" straight hand stock with panels and drop points.

This rifle is a Sauer 90 model in pretty much 'as new' condition. It has a Swarovski 6x42 scope with Apel swing off mounts. The rifle has a detachable magazine, push forward shotgun style safe, rosewood fore-end tip and pistol cap with a raised cheek piece. The rifle comes with a gun slip, leather sling, about 40 rds of ammo and a spare magazine.

This is one of Turner's famous lightweight guns with a skeletonised stock and toe & heel plates fitted to the butt end. It has a silver escutcheon plate fitted to the heel of the stock. This is a Perazzi MX200S. It has 28 1/2" barrels and a 14 3/4" pistol gripped stock. The gun is in pretty much new condition. It is cast for the left shoulder however I'm fairly sure that I can cast it to be shot from the right, if required.

It opens and closes like new.

This is a turn of the century gun and is number two of a pair. The 28" sleeved barrels are chambered for 2 3/4". The top rib reads 'William Evans from Purdey's, 63 Pall Mall, St James's, London.' The gun is engraved with fine scroll and the action has chiselled re-banded fences. The 14 1/2" straight-hand stock has been a replacement at some point and has toe & heel plates.

It has just been fully overhauled and opens & closes beautifully.

This little gun is British made and is retailed by Army & Navy CSL Limited, London. It has an auto side safe, top lever opening and will fold in half. It has a 14" straight hand stock with 26 1/2" barrel with 2 1/2" chambers.

The gun retains 75% of its original hardening colour.

This is a well-made ejector BSA, black action engraved with scroll and game scene, it has Southgate ejectors and a full spindle lever system. It has a 14 3/8" straight hand stock and 28" barrels; made of Jessop's fluid pressed steel with 2 1/2" chambers.

There is a bash on the left hand chamber, although unsightly, perfectly safe and could be taken care of the next time the barrels are blacked.

A clean reliable gun.

This is quite an unusual gun, built by Iver Johnson, Fitchburg, MASS, USA. The 25 1/2" barrels have just been proofed in Birmingham to 3". It is top lever opening with an auto safe and a Deeley fore-end catch. This gun has 13 3/4" straight-hand stock and the best thing is that it's an ejector.

Although it is on the scruffy side, it will make a great shooter as it weighs 6lbs.

To be fair, this gun is a bit on the grubby side however, it is a 'best' grade gun with a full spindle top lever system and rocker safe. The gun was built with intercepting sears. It has been through the wars a bit; the fore-end has two or three chips on it. Stock length is 14 3/4" one piece, with 30" steel barrels.

I think that if you spent about £1000 on this gun you would have a spectacular Scottish boxlock at the end of it. Sadly, spending this money won't improve your shooting but would greatly enhance the appearance of your gun.

This is a composed pair of Westley Richards detachable locked A&D Ejectors. These guns were built circa 1903/ 4. Both guns have been re-stocked, with highly figured well matching stocks of 15 3/8", including leather covered Kick Eez recoil pads. They have fully selective single triggers and they both balance beautifully. Both guns were re-barrelled by the makers to 27", the number two gun has its original barrels sleeved to 30" and are fitted with Teague chokes. The number one gun is a Westley Gold name, the number two gun is a fully engraved version. The action & cover plate is engraved with fine scroll and there is a running rabbit engraved on the bow of the guard. Both guns function well and open & close beautifully.

The guns are in an oak & leather case with trade label and a full complement of Westley accessories.

This Mannlicher is in spectacular condition; it is model GK and has a detachable mount system suitable to take a 4x32 scope. It has a Rotary magazine, flag and push forward safe; it's the first GK that I have had with a highly figured stock.

I have just serviced this rifle.

This is an AYA 25. It has detachable locks, 2 3/4" chambers and a raised Churchill rib with AYA inlaid in gold. The gun is in pretty much new condition. There are two small dents in the barrel which are nothing to worry about; probably best taken care of the next time the barrels require being blacked.

This is a British built 20g that we have just resurrected, it has been re-proofed to 2 3/4", re-jointed, ribs lifted & re-laid, barrels polished & blacked, action & mechanism fully overhauled. The gun has a 14 3/8" straight hand stock with 28" steel barrels.

Plain but good.

These beautiful guns were built circa 1910; they have 30" steel barrels with 2 1/2" chambers. They were re-proofed in London in 1998 and have highly figured 14 3/8" straight hand stocks with panels and drop points and small buffalo horn extension pieces. The actions are engraved with fine scroll and foliage detail. Both guns retain a large amount of original colour hardening. They have a full spindle lever system, rocker safes and Deeley box ejectors.

These guns are in their original, double, brass bound leather case with accessories.

Superb guns with long barrels and tight chokes; the preferred guns of the high bird technician.

This gun was built circa 1930, it has a 14 3/8" straight hand stock, 28" x 2 1/2" steel barrels both of which are full choked. The barrels have a flat cross filed top rib and it has recently been overhauled. It's a good honest clean gun.

This gun was built circa 1910 and comes in its canvas case with trade label. The gun has 28" x 2 1/2" steel barrels. The action is engraved with fine scroll with the word 'safe' inlaid with blue enamel. The action is fitted with intercepting sears. The down side is that at some point the woodwork has been re-chequered rather poorly and both bores are pitted.

A very nice quality little gun.

It is just about to have the action & mechanism fully overhauled and the furniture blacked, please note pictures are prior to overhaul.

This is a turn of the century gun with Deeley box ejectors, which work beautifully; rocker safe and a full spindle lever system. The action is fairly plain with border engraving and the name WP Jones in a banner; WP Jones is inlaid in gold on the top lever. The gun has 28" x 2 1/2" sleeved barrels.

Opens and closes like new.

It is just about to have the action & mechanism fully overhauled and the furniture blacked, please note pictures are prior to overhaul.

I have just completely overhauled the action & mechanism and polish & blacked the barrels. It has a 14 1/8" straight-hand stock, the gun is border engraved and is in original condition. It has rebounding locks, a Hackett fore-end and top lever opening.

The gun opens and closes like new, all this for less than £1,000.

This is a turn of the century gun in particularly fine condition. It is fully engraved with fine rose & scroll and the action is signed; William Evans from Purdey's, London. The gun has a 14 7/8" straight-hand stock with panels and drop points, intercepting sears and Southgate ejectors. This gun is number 2 of a pair.

The gun has just been re-proofed to 2 3/4", re-jointed, barrels blacked and it has been fully overhauled.

A tightly choked gun for the high bird shooter!

This is quite an unusual gun, it has a self opening action (12-20 style). It was recently overhauled with ribs lifted & re-laid and it has had the barrels polished & blacked. The action & locks are engraved with scroll and the ball of the action has grapevine engraving.

12g A&D ejector by W Horton. It has 28" steel barrels with 2 1/2" chambers and a 14 3/4" straight-hand stock. Built circa 1897, this is one of the Horton guns with the patented adjustable trigger system. This gun has a very ornate scroll backed action, it has fluted fences (not dissimilar to a Stephen Grant) and being a polygrip gun there is no screw in the top lever. The action is engraved with trailing foliage, bordered by foliate scroll work and there are also a few thistles engraved along with a lady's face on the top lever.

It has a third grip to barrel and the action is fitted with intercepting sears. The ribs have just been lifted & re-laid and had the barrels jointed to action face. The barrels are a little on the thin side hence the price.

Looked after, this gun will last a lifetime.

Pair of 16g shotguns by James MacNaughton & Son with 28" steel barrels and a 14 5/8" straight-hand stocks with 2 1/2" chambers. I haven't seen anything quite like these before, I suspect they are unique. Built circa 1910, they are slab-sided round actions, engraved with a mixture of zoomorphic and Celtic strap-work. These guns have been fully restored and unusually for MacNaughton, they have conventional push forward safety buttons.

These guns are very, very special.

It is engraved with fine scroll and carved vine leaves, has beaded fences and the left hand of the guard has a rolled edge.

Although the stock is low at the heel, it comes up very well.
